Finian is currently working on a new set of paintings, which we hope will
be ready for the autumn. He is looking to exhibit in a gallery in the South
of England. Details to be announced when a venue is confirmed.
Peli Deli in Matlock, Derbyshire currently holds a small selection of his paintings.
The Artist has purchased a small property in Spain, not too far from Granada, where he is continuing working and painting. The colour and visual delight in his paintings will no doubt continue to be inspired by the area.
Finian’s influences range from Robert Crumb to Goya. Click on a name to go to the site

Francisco Jose de Goya y Lucientes, consummately
a Spanish artist whose multifarious paintings, drawings, and engravings
reflected contemporary historical upheavals and influenced important
19th- and 20th-century painters.
For the bold technique
of his paintings, the haunting satire of his etchings, and his belief that
the artist's vision is more important than tradition, Goya is often called "the
first of the moderns." His uncompromising portrayal of his times marks
the beginning of 19th-century realism.
